Hugo Lambert is the Streaming Apps Reviewer for frenchstreaming.net. Based in France and a lifelong viewer of French cinema, he installs every streaming build on real Android devices, works through the setup exactly as a first time user would, and records what actually happens before any guide is written or updated.
His reviews focus on the parts of a streaming app that decide daily use: how French catalogues are organised, how VF and VOSTFR versions are presented, subtitle quality, playback stability on ordinary connections, and how an app behaves across phones, tablets, and television devices.
When a streaming app releases a new version, Hugo re-checks the installation, the catalogue presentation, and the playback features against the previous build. Anything that changed is reflected in the guides, so the pages here describe the current app rather than the version that existed when they were first written.
